hello guys, any idea uptill when is PCC valid for...i got my wife's done in june from delhi... do i need to do it again if the case follows up in new year

u mean my pcc has expired? i did it in jan so in july it wld have expired long bk? I doubt....its for 1 yr at least..... (if that was the case than 60% of applicants wld have gone for new pcc in 6 months.... Im sure they are extended for a yr)

when i applied for my PR then also it was valid for 6 months....thats wy i ws wondering

they say 6 months but I think cic accepts validity till a yr

Had so much expectations for today *sigh* If we were VO, we would have processed and cleared applications quickly bcoz we know the pain. They haven't gone through the torture we are facing. They should at least be transparent in their procedures & have a system which is consistent. My own PR process didnt even take this long.
I'm feeling sad that I might miss our 1st christmas together as hubby&wife :'(

Its valid for 1 year, as per my GCMS.
Our PCC was issued in March 2013
& Expiry date is given as March 2014

Im sure u had attached Canada PCC. Did they ask for any FBI clearance/fingerprints?

hey miss b cheer up still 4 weeks for Christmas .....im sure u guys gonna be together ......im sure most of us will make it in time for Christmas.........I know this process isn't transparent and there is nothing we can do abt it .........hang in there gurl and nothing to be sorry abt......this is the perfect place for u to vent it all out....coz no one can understand the pain more than us......im sure good news is coming your way ........smile wish u all the luck dear and trust me this is the same pattern ndvo follows soon we gonna have a blast week of only good news

According to the notes, they got the RCMP clearance too. They didn't ask for fingerprints.
