Thanks kejal..they did not specifically told to come to collect the passport..just asked to come without telling the reason.. but i hope its true...as her medical is expiring in a month and they might not want to take a chance with passport not reaching back to us.

Wat is ur current ecas status, is it IP or Application received.

Myrah, You might get directly "decision made". "In Progress" is just a vague status in their system at least for "Pre-strike" applicants. Most probably this status will make more sense for newer applicants.

Application received. But i was 100% sure, it was "in process" by cic as i ordered my gcms notes at regular intervals. So never bothered about application going to "IP".

I think u shld wait till mid dec.......if u don't get ppr till then then apply for notes.....2 more ppl with u in sept still waiting for ppr.........if u wanna go for any holiday pls do once ndvo gets the pp don't know how long they will keep it...... don't expect anything till march/april 2014.....its nearly dec and they haven't even started full flow may.....and u are sept applicant so calculate ..... hope this helps....secondly u can apply for notes anytime u want there is no issue and it doesn't delay your file at all

i think june will start jan 2014........unless some miracles happens and all file till may get their visa then maybe 3rd week dec.........
