Just want to get some suggestions on which flight/route/airlines is better ........better in the sense that not much luggage troubles or not much hastle when going thru haults in between .....cuz i heard some of the people get troubled at the Delhi airport as well as Mumbai airport by customs people......m gonna fly form gujarat .....let me know if anyone has any experience with any of them

Fly Emirates Buddy... all the way.. i have travelled with them for 4 times back and forth now. and the experience and service is amazing. From Ahmedabad, its one stop to Dubai and then straight to Toronto plus with the benefit of wifi on board from Dubai to Toronto. cant beat that..

I asked this question before too can I please get more answers. I was gng thru my notes that I received last month and I found that in the PCC section, the document state was photocopy instead of originals. Can any one please check and let me know what does it says in your notes. There haven't been any red flags in my notes or anything but just curious to learn this.

I never expected anyone to think of me to be just as helpful as Myrah because she, and many others, do a lot more for this community we have formed here, than I have. And I just do what everyone else would do, or already does. But you are helpful and positive too because just by saying what you have said, you have made my day!

(And, mostly this is my reason to help here, because just getting everyone to share a positive vibe helps us not go insane while waiting and everyone does it in their own special ways. For example, waiting 2exhale always makes us laugh at the expense of the NDVO). So everyone here helps with positivity and helpfulness in their own way.

In the end, what I am trying to say to you and everyone else who read this is Don't Worry, you all are in my prayers everyday for a speedy visa. And I am sure God will grant all our wishes soon! Amen! ;D ;D

Because I am in the same boat as everyone here, I just do what I can. But what makes this forum a family is all the love, kindness and support that every member gives each other, which includes you and everyone else. If nobody came on here and asked questions, we would not be able to help, and if nobody helped on the forum, then there wouldn't be anyone posting questions. So I don't think I am special because I just do what everyone else is doing and what should be done if it is possible. And I believe that all of us are special in our own ways! But sure enough, Myrah, waiting2exhale and some others go above and beyond to help and they are like super special angels for us. It is hard to believe that I am being thought of at being on a similar level to Myrah and waiting2exhale even though I just joined and they have been here a lot longer. So thank you again for making my day!

Hey Guys, Sorry this is all over the place.. I am trying my best to be more organized each time and to give more info each time so that it helps people know if there was a certain day someone got IP, or DM or when they applied... so we know how long it took to get a change in status

this is absolutely fabulous...thanks so much desi-girl...this consolidation by each day gives an idea of how much work NDVO does every day..just looking at everyday post with so many people giving an update of their status (one or two a day; 10 another day) makes us feel that NDVO is just sleeping and not doing any work..they are working it is just we are impatient (having said that it is still a no-no for the way they treated some 2012 applicants)

she just said it seems all ok to me.....that's all......useless I say......I did medicals on 17th jan now it expires on 7th feb...anyways hubby asked her again to do enquiry coz we not satisfied with the answers....need to know if interview is waived or not...need to know whats delayin the file is it coz my transfer was late? so lets see wait next week again for an answer

my MP's assistant gave me the same answer (everything seems ok but nothing started) second month of my submission when I did my inquiry

I did mp enquiry again last week and got a reply this week. It states that my file is currently awaiting initial review. It looks like they havent started yet? I really hope they do update us some good news soon. Dont know why its so long. What about you?

I have a very strong feeling that "Not started" does not necessarily mean not started at all, at least many times it does not mean that.
Not started means once the initial entry was made, it was never updated and as we saw most of them, they get updated when completed. The exception is medicals as medicals is the first thing to start. This is may not exactly apply to "eligibility' pass though.

Desi-girl and others are very helpful too.Wish I develop positive attitude when my house is surrounded by water (cyclone effect in Chennai) and I need a boat to navigate (I imagine what Myrah would say when her house is surrounded by water everywhere - no problem babes, get the boat..but Myrah boat is leaking..no problem babes, let's assemble some wood and nail and make our boat..but Myrah I hurt my hand..no problem babes, let's send a message in a bottle and send it in flowing water)

In my PCC section, it doesn't say photocopy nor does it say original anywhere, My document state is left blank & there are other details like which police station and PCC# & Result:'No adverse Info'.

fly emirates and pray that some businessman wants to trade his seat with you in economy seat I had that opportunity and spent the whole flight trying to figure out how to lower my seat..felt like someone was holding me by the hook and dangling in the air
