I did MP enquiry during first week of sept... all they said its a very new file... we will aim to sort it out in 9-11 months... as per their words, this should take us into early 2014.

Not required. Consent is provided by the principal applicant to a third party (in this case your hubby) to do enquiry with CIC on your behalf.

I missed my PPR in march and came to know through GCMS notes, sent PP on 3rd Aug.
Did MP enquiry and they just say sec and background checks are in progress.

No worries about it now because some ppl dont get like that too untill they work on files and got visa. you will see the change then you will know that they work on your file.

I was actually sitting with the MP representative who made a direct call to the immigration folks. At that time, my file was still sitting in the queue to be assigned to an immigration officer in delhi. I dont know when they will have a resource available to look into these files. For sure, strike is having a major impact, they only have a few ppl working in NDVO.
