so I am a full time student and I was able to get my SIN without applying for CIC confirmation letter (because my study permit says "may accept employment"). Now I believe I can work off campus according to CIC rules, but it seems like that most of employers/ HR people are unaware of the new changes and they don't easily believe when I say the rules have been changed and I don't necessarily need a off campus work permit!
Is this happening to me because I don't have the confirmation letter? Even though CIC clearly says that this letter helps you to just get you SIN. I already had no trouble getting my SIN!
Should I just get this confirmation letter and show it to employers? Did you guys have the same problem?!
