They tell you that it takes 13 months. It has only been 9. November and December applicants are still waiting.

May I know what is the difference between ecas and ECAS status? I always go to h t t p s : //services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp to check my application status. Is that the URL for ECAS status? If so, how would I check ecas.

I'm asking this because my application status at the URL that I've mentioned still shows 'Application received' even though I've finished my medicals on 12-Aug-2014. So I was wondering if I need to look elsewhere to see the 'Medicals have been received' status.

You are looking at correct place , only thing in ecas you status of "Medical Received" is not updated .

After July, Nothing is updated in CIC status.
Mine also same case. I have submitted my upfront medicals on Aug 12 2014. No updates on CIC site.

May be all cic staff on long vacation :'(

If you click on application recieved states you can see the medical update info.

Hi,
ecas and ECAS are the same. Sorry for the confusion. My ecas status is 'Application Received' and if you click on 'Application Received' you find more details about your app, in particular, 1. the date the app has been received by CIC and, in my case, 2. Medicals have been received."

Thanks for the info. There is only one line after I clicked the application status hyperlink. It says that my application is received. I guess I need to keep waiting and hope for the best

yes, they asked some more info regarding my salary on Sept 17 and I replied back on Sept 19.
