New CEC - Jan 2014 Applications

Since July CIC response is very slow. Many applicants from Nov and Dec are also checking the ecas status and mails every day.
Is CIC is including all the current applications in Jan 2015 express processing?

The difference between current system and Express entry is how the applications will be processed ,so the difference of Processing and selecting application will only be different only when express entry starts , no way applications filed before will be included in 2015 Express Entry .

Will skilled immigrants be considered under both the current admissions system and Express Entry in 2015?

No. Each application is assessed according to the eligibility requirements and caps in place at the time CIC receives it. In order to be considered for Express Entry, people will have to apply separately (starting in January 2015) using a new electronic application management system. There will not be any application caps or occupation lists under Express Entry.

There is always a time lag between when people apply and when they settle in Canada. As a result, there will be an overlap between people being processed under these caps in 2014 and people applying under Express Entry in 2015.

How many Jan Applicants are "In process" and "Medical Received" in e-cas ? I guess know body received RPRF request ?

I got the medical request and completed. my ECAS status is still "Application Received" and "Medical results have been received". does it mean process of my application not started? any idea?

I dont know what is wrong with Jan Applicants , Guys Reply have you all became lazy as VO's or went to vacation ?? There is very least movement int his thread as compared to other month applicants , On serious note anybody got RPRF request till yet ?

I guess most of Jan applications already got their MRs and started the following process smoothly. Only those unlucky guys as me are worried and like posting here.

RPRG paid upfront, meds done July 31st, ecas updated to meds received August 11th.

Visa exempt country so just waiting for COPR.

Same for me as far is update is concerned , Rest I am from non visa exempt country so waiting for PPR. Your application is "In process" Mate?
