i have just arrived in canada and applied for PR card..my wife is pregnant. and i want to ask you whether a new born child in canada to me would become citizen of canada or not...whether we would also become citizen of canada

No it wont help you. You have to complete 1095 days of physical presence in Canada and then apply for citizenship, it will take another additional 1 year for processing.

He will get citizenship if he is physically born in Canada

Your child will be Canadian if he or she is born in Canada but having a Canadian baby will not affect your status in any way. You are still a PR and you have to meet the residency obligation of 2/5 years in Canada to keep your PR and 3/4 years in Canada in order to be able to apply for citizenship.
