New bank account for proof of funds

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know that showing 6 months bank statement is mandatory for proof of funds?

I am currently in the UK and going back to India in one month to apply for a Canada visa where I don't have any bank accounts atm.

Am I allowed to submit a newly opened bank statement one/two months transactions with a gift deed?

Hi I am also in a similar situation did you open a new bank account and shown the recent bank statements?
