New Application Checklist

Hello,

Does anyone have the link to the updated checklist for spousal visa applications? According to a form included in my application that was returned, it is supposed to have "(02-2018)" in the bottom corner of the page but I cannot find anything like that. I only see IMM 5533 (03-18) E.

I just need to make sure I'm using the most recently updated form.

Also, is there anywhere I can call to ask quick questions as I continue putting this application together?

You will find the new checklist above... can you share why it was return? It can’t be from the checklist as the new law didn’t come out till feb14 and you had up to march 15th to submit using old forms

I checked my checklist that I sent With my application it’s 02-2018... that was sent last week weird

That’s what I mean.. when I send my application it was 02-2018... now it’s 03-2018. I hope don’t have a problem.

The thing is that I checked the forms page, where the form is listed as updated last February 2018. It only says 2018-03 when you click through to the actual PDF, which itself as far as I can see is identical to 2-2018...I'm not sure whether CIC will see the 2018-2 form as outdated or not.

Depends on when you sent your app. Youll just have to wait and see

If you have been filling out an application using the previous version of the checklists (identified in the bottom left hand corner by version code 10-2017), we will still accept your application using that previous version until March 15, 2018. Yes, the issue is that they have made another, apparently very small change in IMM 5533 after the February update (not sure exactly when, but less than two weeks ago when I downloaded the checklist last). That's what Egypt2018 and I are worried about. It is strange if the OP was rejected for this reason, I agree. Perhaps something else was missing in that instance.

guys earlier we filled IMM5533 02-2018 but while submitting application in June first week we noticed they changed checklist to 03-2018 and we amended & submitted on 12.06.2018 with 03-2018 checklist

now again i am seeing they changed checklist IMM5533 to 06-2018 in june , really worried and confused if they will be accepted or not

I don't know, but I can tell you that my package with a 2018-2 checklist sent after the 2018-3 was out did not get returned.
