Net income

My wife is confused regarding her net income we are sending our app in Feb

So is the net income is the full year of 2011 that she filled ?

Or do we give her net income from dec 2011 to jan 2013 ? As we are sending app in feb?

April 1 to March 31 is the fiscal year for Canada. She can show the net income according to her previous tax return or take the recent annual income if it is higher.

Her wage has increased more then her last fiscal year

The Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) figures are not applicable to Spousal Sponsorship. A spouse is eligible to be sponsored even if the sponsor has little to no income. The only limitation is that, the sponsor should not be on welfare (except disability).

For spousal sponsorship, I would focus more on proving that the relationship is genuine.
