Needed Documents & steps 4 Egyptian-Canadian marriage ( NOT IN EGYPT)??

hey guys ,
me ( Egyptian man ) and my sweet soulmate ( Canadian girl) are planing to meet at Dominican Republic OR Venezuela and we are planing to get married there .
Anyone have any idea about the steps of the marriage and the Needed documents and how long time it will take ?
Both of us are Muslims and we are looking to marry on the Islamic laws ..does that make any difference?
& where we supposed to get married ? the Canadian Embassy or Egyptian embassy?
