Dear All Members,
My lawyer has failed twice to get me initial approval from NS Sydney. What he told me that last he applied in the month of October-2009 but till no news from NS Sydney. I have got my IELTS expired in the month of Jan-10 also.

What should I do?
I am in a dark about my case?
My lawyer is saying that file would be approved?
If I got approval and send full docs to Visa office with the expire IELTS result? what would be the action of Visa office would they reject my file or will ask for fresh IELTS? As I know I would be given 4 months time to submit full docs to Visa office?

I am in a big soup? what should I do? Can I apply with fresh application of NS without withdrawing previous one? Does that need to do IELTS before applying fresher one? If I got approved previous one before fresh one than what would I will have to do?

Kindly help?

What went wrong when you failed twice.??? can u share.....did you not get the required 67 points or what ??

If you file a new application , you have to have a valid IELTS score...expired one will certainly not suffice...

Dear My lawyer has applied directly to Visa office in April-09 but as on April-09 it has to be apply to NS Ist.
after keeping 4 months the file was returned by Visa office.

After that file again sent to NS in the month of Aug-09 but returned by sydney in the month of Oct-09 with the explanation that AEO is submitted with incomplete (pages)?

Against 3rd time applied in the month of Oct-09 but I observed that IMM0008 sent without filling column Visa office column.

May be my lawyer has got file back and again apply but he is saying the nothing has been listened from NS yet and hopefully would be approve by Feb-09 end.

What should I do how can I checked what is going on with my file?

ok...now you file is with nova scotia(3rd time) and the file was sent on 3rd october. now ideally you should have listened by now. what you can do is two things. Make sure that the application was received by Nova Scotia by checking with the courier service by which you have sent it. then check that your fee dradt has been cashed or not. If it has been cashed then they are not going to return your application.

Senior Members what should I do?

Your lawyer is in efficient. Do not mind me saying that because if you hired that person it was his/her job to get things done correctly. Well ask you lawyer about the correct picture. Sydney is taking 60-75 days to send communication via letter or email to applicant so you can wait till that time and also meanwhile prepare a set of forms yourself so that (I hope you get positive response from Sydney) if not positive then you can send the file yourself and take the help of forum members.

Word of caution: Be very careful in selecting your representatives like consultants and Lawyers since they know Canada is a hot place for immigration and they lack experience and just take up cases which they do not have experience of at all.

If you still insist of changing your lawyer then you can take the help of David Cohen who runs this website.

Seniors pls add comment.I would think that your Lawyer is inexperienced and incompetent.Sort out the mess and if all cleared then take the next line of action by discarding him and looking for other alternative.Best of luck.
