Hello there,
Thank you in advance for reading my post. I need your help from your experience on my immigration case.

I am 30 years old single divorced mother of 1 from Pakistan. I lived in Toronto, Canada for almost 5 years (2006 -2011) as an international student. I applied for refugee claim in 2009 and was rejected. Filed for PRRA and judicial review. Both were dismissed as well. I was shipped back to Pakistan in year 2011 and then my Canadian born husband (ex now) came after me to Pakistan and we got married in 2011. My daughter is 4 years old and she was born in Karachi Pakistan.

It have been almost 6 years since I was deported from Canada.

We didn't file for family sponsorship since things didn't work out for us. We have filed for divorce recently and its officially done now.

Now I am engaged to another man here in Pakistan and he is a businessman. We are looking forward to apply for permanent residency very soon after we get married. My new bf have been to Canada once on a visitor visa few years ago. We are thinking to apply for business immigration or some other category.

With my previous record, what are my chances if we apply for permanent residency and what are the chances? Also for long rejected refugee claim status will stay on my record. I heard there is time limit. like 10 years or so? is this true or it stays there lifetime?

Please share your thoughts on my case. I will appreciate any comments. Thanks once again.

The refugee claim will be on your record permanently. This won't stop you from immigrating provided you are 100% honest in your application about your immigration history in Canada. Since you were deported, you will have to go through the ARC process that will involve additional fees and processing time.
