Hi guys My wife and I just sent our application for outland spousal sponsorship approval to CPC-M, how will we know they have approved it do they send an email or a letter after the 30 day process?

The sponsor will receive a letter if the sponsorship is approved or refused after the posted processing time.

hi, i applied for immigrant to canada under skilled worker. got my file # but it was 6yrs ago and i did not recieve any notice. is it still on progress. is there anything i can do to know the status of my application?

If you applied as skilled worker prior to 28/02/08 and haven't heard anything, then your apply was cancelled under 87.4 of the regulations. You should have got a request of where to send the refund of the fees. Contact the visa office where you applied.
