Dear All,

I am applying for Canada PR from US ( I have been staying in USA ,Detroit for last 3 years) under Skilled worker. I have few doubts, Could some body help in clarifying them?

1) I am Indian and I don’t have birth certificate. Can I show Indian license or any other documents as Birth certificate? I used to show my 10th class certificate as birth proof in India
2) I have 1 year old kid who is US Citizen. .Do I need to apply PR card for him also to take him to Canada? Or Can I apply once we settle down in Canada. I heard that he can stay with us in Canada with out Canada PR, But it will become a problem when it comes to Insurance and I have a bear all his hospital expenses if required.
3) My Friend told, since I lived in Detroit for 3 years, the application process takes less time than any other city in USA. Any one has any idea on this?
4) I am a Hepatitis B carrier (This check up is done 4 years ago and doctors told it will not harm me in future. My wife and kid are not affected). Does it become problem for Canada PR?

Thanks a lot for your help

1. You are going to have demonstrate that your birth was never registered, if you don't have birth certificate.
2. Unless your child is a Canadian citizen, s/he has to be included in the application and examined as well.
3. All application in the US are sent to Buffalo.
4. It may cause a problem.
