Hi guyz,

i need your comment on the following issue.

I am an international student in Canada. I am doing my masters from U of Victoria since january 2013.

I have applied for the co-op work permit in 3rd. September 2013 and still now waiting for the permit.

Could you please put some light on the time period it normally takes? i believe it was around 30days.

Hi Gunpowder,

There is nothing to worry about now, it may take an extra week or so. I have applied for mine -from Victoria too In Jun 18, and I received it around August 5th, I believe.

It may take up to 8 weeks depend on how busy they are.

R1987 thanks for your reply. The problem is I might offered a job and I am not sure how long the work permit issue will take....(
