Dear All Group Members,
I am a Canadian PR Holder, Will Move to Canada this Nov , My Wife has already got Multiple Visit Visa For Canada.

As Decided i was planning for my wife PR visa after landing, But this week on arrival of a new born baby .
I have changed the plan that once i complete the landing in Nov , i will apply Visit Visa for my New born Baby .Once my wife and child are in Canada on Visit Visa, I will Apply for their PR visa as inland applicant?

Is it a right decision , please guide. thanks in advance.

Your child isn't guaranteed a TRV. If you get denied you can try TRP. If not you will have to sponsor them outland. You he cut it very close with your RO. I hope you don't have to much travel related to job or family since you will have only a month for 2 years.

Hello canuck78, Thanks for your reply, In case I get the visit visa for my newborn baby and My wife already have valid visit visa, so once my family is inside Canada on Visit Visa, can I be able to apply inland application for their PR?

Yes. Technically you can only apply outland for your child but that can be done while in Canada. Getting a visa for your baby is 50/50 chance.

Any specific Reason for 50/50 chance? Also how about i apply first PR for my wife and kid as outland and then apply for their visit visa so that till their PR is processed and approved they will spend some time with me.

TRVs are denied because they are clearly not visitors and will likely stay in Canada.

It would not be an outland app. It is only outland when the child being sponsored is the Principal Applicant.
