Hello! I hope you are doing well,
so basically my son will be going to Canada on a visitor visa in November he is a minor so i have a friend there who is willing to fully provide him all the things like food, house and all but what i am confused of that will he be able to join High School in Toronto and apply for a PR so he could continue his studies
i will really appreciate your help
Thank You

But he is your son not your friends son so the answer is still no he cannot apply for PR and your friend cannot sponsor him..

Maybe when he finishes high school, attends university, graduates, gets some work experience then maybe he can apply himself for PR through Express entry or Canadian work experience program or if lucky find an employer to sponsor an LMIA.

If were so easy everyone would be sending their kids over alone to stay with friends and apply for PR

So he can't study without a student Visa ?

He needs a study permit to study in Canada. Studying on a visitor visa is illegal. Since he is an international student, you must also be prepared to pay a tuition fee of around $15K per year for him to attend public school (it will cost more if he attends private school). To be approved for the study permit, you will also need to show you have $10K to cover his living expenses - so the total balance you will need to show for the study permit approval is $25K.
