Hi guys
I just recently got a request for fingerprints. We applied for inland spousal sponsorship but since I am out of status at the moment, I do not have any valid ID/s other than my passport. I went in today to get my fingerprints done at RCMP office but was informed I need 2 Government issued IDs. I only have 30 days to complete the bio metrics request.
Is there anyone who has been in a similar situation or someone who can help how to sort this out?
Thanks

Do you have a drivers license or health card? Surely even if they are expired (and you take a copy of you AOR or any documentation received from CIC) this should help?

Thanks for your response reviv3r, I took my expired health card but it was not accepted. Regarding AOR, I never received one, been checking other threads and noticed that some others also didn't receive it even though they got their medical and biometrics request just like mine.

Your sponsor would have received the AOR (if that helps) Hmm, sorry I can’t be of any help :(

If the RCMP won’t accept your biometrics request letter, perhaps write a note to IRCC via the web form explaining?

Just to update,I was able to get my fingerprints taken, photocopy of second ID was accepted.
