I'll say this.

Better be slow and accurate in your visa process rather than making waste in your haste.

A correctly arranged file with things in place gets approved very quickly especially nowadays.

So invest in getting the right documents.

You don't wanna end up getting a rejection for missing marks cards. Then you'll apply later for a backlog summary. And then re-apply

What's the point?

Inbox me your mail ID and I will send you an attachment. Cheers

BTW you don't need 'few' but only 'one' and I have sanitized it by taking out my personal information.
This is the one that I used in my visa application and you can modify it for your use.

Hi !!

My university has responded this :-

Dear student

University will not issue a letter, you can show the 1st semester failed marks card to concern department , marks card dispatch details are given below:

Your 1st semester (failed marks card) has dispatched, on 21/May/2008 through Speed Post, Consignment #Xxxxxxc.

Regards

Office of Student Evaluation

I have 2 marksheets of 1st semester - 1 showing the backlog information and 1 when I cleared all the exams in the next semester

As the university isn't issuing the backlog certificate/report do I have the option of only submitting the 1st sem marksheet which have backlog info ?

Hi Ankita,

You're in India right and your university is an Indian university?

So sadly your work won't get done online.

It's a sad reality.

Go to your college/university and beg and plead the registrar or academic/student services department to help you out

Tell them it's mandatory and ask them to just certify on a letterhead.

What college/university btw?

if you mention the name, maybe someone knows how to get it done there

Very well said, Harvijay. Just to add to it, someone I know faced similar dilemma as yours from a University
in Haryana and he got the registrar served a court notice on why they couldn't provide it and the Uni asked him
to give the format and obliged him in 2 days. You need to push yourself to get some outcome.

hope this helps.

Good Luck.

Thank you

I believe that's what I will try now.

Hope they will agree
