Hi friends, I need your help to write the purpose of travel/visit for my brother and my sister in law for TRV for Canada for my first baby birthday that I am in high-risk pregnancy and my baby might be need a surgery after birth
My high-risk doctor gave me a letter and mentioned that I am in a high-risk pregnancy and my baby after the birth maybe need a surgery and I need one of my close family be here for supporting me
My brother has an apartment in my back home and he works and took 2 months off without salary and also reserved the ticket and took a bank statement, but I am worried that they reject their visa and every body tell me that in the purpose of visit letter he has to convince the officer that he will come back .
now I am in a stressful situation and also worried about their visa and I want that you friend help me to write the purpose of visit letter that I can convince the officer and if you can give me more information that what can I do that for Jan 19 that is my due date they can be here

Have they traveled to other countries requiring visas previously such as the UK, US?

Then I would strong recommend they request a 2-3 week trip (rather than 2 months). Two months is a long time and demonstrates a lack of true ties to their home country.

because I want to mention that they would be here to support me and my new born baby that maybe need operation I think 3 weeks is not enough time. or maybe enough I don't know exactly. what do you think?
He translate the contract of 1 year of his work and also 10 years insurance and a letter from employer that about 10 years that he works for that company also he bought a new development house that he has to come back to receive it.
If you think 3 weeks is better then I can tell him to take another letter off for 3 weeks.

I would stick with 2-3 weeks for the trip.

Make sure it doesn't sound like they are coming here to take care of the baby. CIC may classify that as working without authorization.

To add to scylla's advice:
I would recommend your brother does NOT apply for a TRV. Only your sister-in-law must apply (but again what strong ties can she demonstrate?)

You may want to invite your mom/older female relative instead.

Mentioning about your high-risk pregnancy and/or the possibility of your newborn needing surgery shortly after birth are big no-nos. Nor would I include any doctor's notes or reports which mention these medical situations.

Note: Although the invitation letter you provide is only secondary, the purpose of visit stated in it would matter. More importantly, the critical deciding factors would be the strong ties of your sister-in-law/ your mom/ an older female relative.

Again, I would advise that your brother does not apply. If he can take two months off from work + unpaid leave = Weak employment ties..... also the fact that he is willing to forego his salary would indicate that he can overstay his visit.

And, confirmed plane tickets do not assure a visa approval
