Hello!

I have landed on May 2, 2014 but had to leave Canada after a few weeks. I still haven't received my PR card yet but I have my old TRV which will expire next year, 2015. I've noticed that they put a line on my Immigrant visa but not my TRV in my passport.

Can you please advise me if I can still use that TRV to enter Canada?

Are you Japanese? Japanese are visa-exempt so you just fly back to Canada on your visa-exempt passport and then explain to CBSA at the border that you are a PR. They will let you in.

No, you need a TD.
