Hi All,

After receiving ITA and answering initial questions, i checked to pay Principal applicant as well as RPRF to be paid simultaneously which amounts to 550 + 490 = 1040 CAD $ . But after inquiring the bank , i came to know that my bank debits card allows 650 cad $ max amount per online transaction .

Now how can i modify my payment options ? someone on the forum mentioned that u can change it later if u want but i cant see the option in my cic application .. Any help ?

You can use prepaid Credit card where first you put the money in them and then make the transaction they are available for as low as 10$ and many currencies.

Probably u can ask your bank or exchange about this.

I'd suggest you to pay just application fee of $550 and wait for CIC to ask for RPRF of $490. Through this step, you will be sure that when cic asks for RPRF fee, it means that your PPR is around the corner and you will get PPR soon after paying RPRF.

Still its your call but prepaid credit cards wont work with CIC.

There have been rejections after CIC asked for RPRF. So paying it later is not a guarantee that the application will be successful.

Ues but majority of cases have got PPR after RPRF.

I am not denying it, just clarified that it is not a guarantee.

To change the option you need to look for "change answer to questions" (or something like that) at the top of the page when you are on the screen to upload supporting documents.

Pay the 550 CAD fees upfront and wait for the CIC to raise an RPRF and that way you don't need to make any changes to anything. A lot of people have done it like that. I paid mine all upfront using credit card.

I agree contacting the bank would be my first option... otherwise pay the 550 and then wait for them to ask for the rest.
