Need to make new friends before i'll arrive in Canada

I've been wondering about to have some good friends before going to Canada.Anyone know the best way to get good friends so that you would have no problem when you'll be in Canada.

I'm applying through an agent to International College of Manitoba (University of Manitoba) in September intakes So best possibilities can be adopted.
