Need to goto the US after 1 month of Landing

Hi There,

I am landing in Vancouver this month but will need to goto the US after landing, Will I be able to get the PRTD [Permanent residency travel document] from service canada offices so that I can use that to come back to Vancouver?

Answer is no given a PRTD can only be obtained from outside Canada and does take some time to apply for one so only other alternative to flying is cross back via US/Canada land border with your COPR.
