Need to do medical but no official request

My wife needs to take her medical check and we'd like to do it while we're in Japan (we leave in about a week and a half. I (the sponsor) received my approval to sponsor and was told that my wife needs to take a medical. However, even though we've linked the account (on Jun 1st) and I received the email saying that I was approved (on Jun 8th) my wife's account has still not gotten a request for the medical with the IMM 1017E form. This is so frustrating. Is there any way that we can go get the medical done without having that form? I contacted IRCC last week through their web form but their response time is glacial at best.

Pretty sure you will need request from them, I did ask them same question & 3-4 reps told better to wait until I receive further instructions

Unfortunately it can't be done without the form. You'll have to wait for the request
