Need to complete landing urgently, plz help

Forum members, do to some urgent situation we need to complete landing. I want to some help from forum members to understand two things:

1. Can I complete landing during late evening/night hours in by crossing Rainbow bridge from Niagara and enter US and then return ?
2. I and my wife are under a joint application. Is it mandatory that both of us to complete the landing at the same time ?
3. Do I need to carry any extra documentation other than passport, COPR, WP ?

Request to please please help me as soon as possible.

1.- I don't know for this border. Some land borders are closed at night. This is open 24 hours, I don't know about inmigration services but should be available.

2.- If you go separately, you have to go first, I think.

3.- COPR, Passport
perhaps Proof of funds, but being at Canada shouldn't be necessary, just in case some bank statements.
