Need suggestions reg Spouse PR::Strange situation

Dear All,

I have received ITA (along with spouse), completed medicals on 25th July. But My wife is conceived now. In this case, if I get my PR in next couple of months, will it be possible for me to complete my landing and extend my wife's landing ?

Will CIC accept for this if I informed that she is pregnant and she can not travel ?

Please help

Your situation is not strange at all and there are numerous threads about this topic on the forum.

There are no extensions; your wife must land by expiry.

are you sure ? I heard that CIC can extend landing dates in case of pregnancy.

There are no extensions because of personal life choices, such as getting pregnant. IRCC expects people to apply when they are actually ready.
