Need some information about taking online course while staying in canada

Hello
I'm currently studying in Langara College in Vancouver, British Columbia. I'm doing my diploma in Bioinformatics, this is two year course and I'm in second semester and I wanted to change my course and college. I wanted to take Pharmacy Technician course which is in another college and this course is for 11 months and it is online mode. The in-class mode for pharmacy technician is only once a year i.e, May. When i contacted to this college about pharmacy technician course they asked me to confirm with IRCC about taking online mode course and to make sure taking online mode course will not affect me in future while applying to work permit.
I tried contacting IRCC and due to number of calls are on waiting I haven't got the chance talking to them regarding this, so i thought in the mean time just want to get information from here.
So is it okay if I take the course in online mode like in generally, leaving this pandemic situation aside and will it affect me when i apply for work permit?

In normal circumstances, if you have online courses or distance courses, they need to be less than 50% of your study. A program that is nearly 100% online, with only one in-person meeting per year, would not normally meet that threshold, so you would not be eligible for a PGWP.

If this is a program that is normally in-person but has switched to online because of COVID, the answer may be different.

So it is actually an online course and i need to go for labs in person once a every week to college and also need to finish 8 months practicum in community and retail pharmacy. So it means I'm still not be eligible for PGWP?

What does the college say? Are they a DLI? Is their program listed on IRCC's website as being eligible for PGWP?

My gut says "no, not PGWP eligible."

Yeah the college is DLI and it is listed on IRCC website, I have checked it.

So i need to wait till May -2021 to take in-class course then.

What province? Sternberg college is not coming up in BC as DLI eligible.

Stenberg College, on the other hand, does not offer PGWP eligible programs. Any studying there would not get you a work permit.
