Need room Toronto, options short-term?

Dear all,
I live in a shared house but the landlord and I do not get along (we share house).
What short-term options are there for someone like me who does not work on a permanent contract but has money and a great credit score?

My long-term goal is to fins a proper rental apartment as soon as I have a permanent contract with a company.
