I am in the same boat as well. I will be studying at UBC starting Jan but I could not get college accommodation. I will need a decent accommodation for the first two weeks I am in Vancouver searching for a place. Any ideas anyone ?Renting a hotel room might be too expensive unfortunately....

Vancouver college and universities have accepted a record amount of foreign students. I think we are just seeing the beginning of people desperate for accommodations especially somewhat affordable ones.
