Need PR Card renewal help, Urgent!

1. CIC received my PR Card renewal on 2008/06/16
2. Started processing on 2008/08/11
3. Since then it has been in "IN PROCESS" state
4. My current PR Card expired. I'm not in Canada right now
5. I need to call them & find out WHAT is the reason for delay
6. Is there a number that I can call besides the 888-242-2100?
That number can only be called within Canada.

Help is greatly appreciated.

If you have friends/family in Canada, you can ask somebody to call CIC and you and set up a 3 way calling so you can talk to them yourself.

You can also ask the embassy to try to find out for you.

If you need to get back to Canada, you can apply for a PR travel document.
