..so this is my first time even being part of a forum of any kind so I`m a little green at this but I really need some insight, help, advice, anything!!!!

I know it sounds cheesy and eveyone has a story..but like many Canadian women, I went on vacation and fell in love with a Mexican man. Being blessed to be born a Canadian I was able to temporarily move to Mazatlan, Mexico without too much paperwork and stay here for 9 months (the best 9 months of my life!). The purpose of my stay was to A-make sure I really love this man (and I do with all of my heart) and B- to aid him in the application of a TRV. We worked very hard and submitted a seemingly perfect application BUT unfortunately he was denied for what now seems like a very common reasoning..lack of travel history, family ties, and lack of financial assets..

It makes me feel somewhat better to see that we are not alone in this, as it seems like there are lots of wonderful people out there getting denied for the same reasons, but I am also heart broken, and at a loss as to what we can do now. I need to return home to my job, family, etc. and unfortunately he now will be staying here.

should we get married here in Mexico?..though in my readings it seems like this really doesn`t change anything, he still needs the visa..
I have many friends and family at home that have businesses and are willing to hire him, should I work with them to try to get a work visa?..does anyone have experience with this process
spousal sponsorship?..any one have anything to say about this process, looks like alot of paperwork, and fees, and I am so scared to submit this and be denied again..advice?

I am honestly looking for any help I can get, any words of wisdom at all would help me to stay positive through this whole process!

Thanks!

If you marry him, it will open the door for you to sponsor him for PR. If you try to get him a work visa, it may be denied for the same reason his TRV was denied, that is for risk of overstay.
