Need Information-travelling to India

Hi,

Currently I'm studying in Canada and I'm about to complete my studies by this December 2020.Due to some problem reasons I need to travel to India in January 1st week 2021 and will return to Canada by first week of march or by the end of February 20201.my Study permit is going to expire by 30th March and mean while i have to apply for my work permit.so, I'm planning to apply for my work permit ,after my return to Canada. I will be on my study permit when i'm leaving to India and coming back to Canada. is it okay to do that or is there any suitable alternative for my concern. suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

If your study permit is valid and your residence is in Canada you should be okay to return.

Also pay attention to Visa expiry date which is stamped on your passport. You won't be allowed to enter in Canada if that expires before your return.
