Need information about Spouse-open work permit visa

Hello friends ,
My name is Krunal and currently I live in Canada as a student. I am Indian Citizen and I came canada in January ,2017 and I want to apply Spouse-open work permit Visa for my wife. We were Married in 25th,december,2016. My question is that how I will write my Cover letter and Invitation letter for Visa Officer ?
and Can my father(Father-in-law for my wife ) Sponser my wife for Spouse-open work permit visa?
Give me reply according to my situation.
