That sounds like it could possibly be self-employment which doesn't count under CEC.
Do they issue you a T4? Do they deduct taxes from your pay? Or do you handle all of that on your end? You're not paid a salary or hourly by the sounds of it (you're paid by work product) so I do think there's a chance this will be classified as self-employment.

This looks like self-employment to me.
If you were paid a salary, then there would be an opportunity to potentially argue otherwise. But since you're paid based on reports produced, IMO this is a clear case of self employment.
That's my opinion but certainly wait for others to comment.

Yes, you can apply under FSW or one of the PNP programs if you meet the requirements. You need to have a valid TRV to be able to return to Canada if you leave.

There is no public policy in place at this time that will allow you to extend your PGWP.
There was one last year but it has ended.
