I am an international student with a valid study permit and an expired student visa. I have entered Canada on June 18th this year, was staying in my own country from last year until June 18th for 8 months. My study permit was expired on July 31th, and I extended it to November 30th. I also applied for a student visa but is still in progress. I am wondering can I visit the U.S. for a couple of months and come back with an expired student visa and valid study permit?
