Need Help

Hi All,

I am in Toronto since May 2009 and My work permit is till Dec 31st, 2010. Last month, i appleid for renewal under GATS worker program and I haven't heard anything still....

My question is: As my OHIP will also get expired by Dec 31st 2010, and i will be on Implied status till i receive my new work permit.
If i need to visit doctors/get medical tests etc....do i need to pay $$$ ???or is there any kind of implied status even for OHIP till i get my new work permit and get all the medical services as before?????

No You need to pay from your pocket till you get the work permit and then apply for OHIP Extension and after that you can submit the recipts for claim from Ontario Health. Service Onratio will help in applying for reimbursements.
