I AM APPLYING TO EXTEND MY STAY AS A VISITOR, AND ONE OF THE QUESTIONS ON THE APPLICATION IS FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY? WHAT DO I PUT IF MY PARTNER IS SUPPORTING ME

We extended my husbands visa and put zero for funds available. I did include a letter stating that I would be supporting all his financial requirements. Attached to the letter was 4 months of bank statements as well as the Option C from CRA. In this financial support letter and in his cover letter we clarified that he understands that he is only visiting while waiting for our PR application to be processed and that he will not be working or going to school during his visit. We also included the receipt copy that all fees were paid and the sponsorship approval letter. We were granted 1 year extension. Good luck
