Need Help

Hi guys! I just recently submitted an application to extend my stay in Canada and the application has been approved. However due to the terrible postal service where i live, the document that i supposed to receive from the CIC from a week ago has not yet arrived and i'm leaving the country in a couple days. So my study permit expired on the 30th of August and i'm coming back to Canada on the 22nd, i'm wondering if they still allow me entry to the country in the case that i don't receive my study permit before leaving the country.

They won't...You must have a valid PP, TRV & SP to show up at POE.

Thanks for the answer. I have a letter from the CIC saying that my application has been approved with my document number on it, so is it okay if i show this to them as a proof?
