Hi guys,
I am planning to apply to Fall 2014 for MS in CS in Canada. Here is my profile:
My GRE score is 316 ( Verbal -154, Quant - 162). AWA score 3.5. TOEFL - 107/120 (R30,W27,L26,S24)
My academic profile is:
B.Tech C.S. - 8.4 CGPA
10th - 86.8% 12th - 86.2%
I have certificates from national Maths Olympiad , national level software development contest and from couple of other contests.
I am also OCPJP certified. I have 1.5 years of work experience as a Peoplesoft Financials ERP developer.
Can you please suggest few universities that suits my profile? Do Canadian universities accept TOEFL or do I have to give IELTS?
And how do you convert % to 4 point GPA? After going though several posts in the forum, I do not believe it is merely %*4.
Also, can anyone suggest my chances in top 3 universities if i apply for project work based M.Engg instead of thesis based MS?
Thanks for your help
