Guys, Its been 2 days since I have landed here. Currently living with some family friends in Brampton. All of them are busy and I have no idea where to start from? I need a phone number first because I don't want to ask for my relatives phone again and again in order to reach out to my parents in India. Is there anyone who can tell me which phone connection is better to go with? Chatr, Wind etc ? I have checked online and most of them doesn't have an international calling plan? Also, I have a Samsung phone and I would like to use that only, its unlocked. I have only passport as my ID, will that work?
Is postpaid a better option or prepaid?

Suggest me a cheap, smart and effective plan as soon as possible.

u can get any cell phone plan and then buy a calling card from any convenience store for around $2-$3 u get 4-5 hours of talk time with the calling card. if ur looking for cell phone plan with international calling then u have to look at their international calling rates and find the cheapest one.

4 to 5 hours of talktime is for how long? Like in one go or I can use it for months?
