Hi everyone,

I applied my study permit on May 16th and submitted it on June 30th. Yet, I am still waiting for CIC's approval and all my friends who applied at the same time already got their visas approved. Furthermore, I am diagnosed with ADHD and I included that in my medical report. Does my ADHD affect the processing time?

Nobody can say whether ur Meds condition can affect processing times.
Where did you applied ??

No i dont think it should affect your application, Its not a contagious or life threatening problem. You should not worry about that.

I hope you're right cause my psychiatrist once advised me not to included it in my medical report since his previous patients who applied in August were approved in February.

Do you have any ideas why they're taking so long?

Every persons case is different. Sometimes they just need to do background check , financial documents etc. For some people it takes more time, for some people it takes less. Do not worry that since you have ADHD they would reject your visa. I am sure you would get your visa. Keep praying and all the best
