Hi Everyone,

I am applying for PR under NOC 2171 and have below questions:

1. My employer provides the reference letter in a specific format which does not include salary information and designations held. Would this be a problem? Can I clarify this in letter of explanation?

2. Will the same reference letter work for SINP? Or do we need anything specific in either case?

3. I am an IT Consultant in the Technology risk advisory area, will the below roles and responsibilities work for NOC 2171:


  • Perform IT system evaluation and/or audit ERP applications, identify system gaps/issues, prepare audit reports and recommend corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with standards
  • Lead activities for an end-to-end ERP security and controls implementation including design, implementation, and testing of Role Based Access Control (RBAC), transaction controls ERP Roles structure, segregation of duties (SoD) and data access security
  • Lead activities for implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system such as Oracle Risk Management Cloud
  • Conducting client workshops to gather ERP security and controls requirements, and translating them into detailed design documents for implementation and testing
    Prepare training manuals and conduct end-user training workshops for clients
  • Assist client in preparing IT security policies and standard operating procedures in line with industry best practices
  • Managing team members and tracking the overall project delivery and timelines.
  • Build strong business relationships with existing and potential clients

Mr. (Md……… name) is responsible for analyzing, planning, and developing various development projects and programs to assist in the design of information systems for them. He prepares drafts of user requirement documents, Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, and others for the development of our new systems or the upgradation of existing systems. He also works in creating financial models to support business decisions.

Mr. (Name) works in the process (being a committee member) of IT firm selection to implement software development projects and to monitor the progress and compliance with the contract.
During the Covid-19 restrictions from 2019 to 2022, Mr. (Applicants name) served as the lead host and organizer of most of the internal and external virtual meetings and seminars. During this time, he worked to collect data, conduct some sorts of analysis, and to prepare reports with data visualization for the participants of the virtual meeting.
