Dear All,

I'm from India. I am having to travel to Canada for a business meeting and I'm caught trying to understand the documents I need to submit to apply for a business visa online.

I've run into some confusion over the kind of documents I need to submit. This is my first international travel by the way, so I have absolutely no stamping on my passport yet.

Can someone here please help me understand the documents requested below:

  • Travel History (required) - I'm not sure what to upload for this. And it seems like a mandatory document. Please help!
  • Business Activities Description (required) - Will the invitation letter I received suffice for this?
  • Purpose of Travel - Other (required) - Will the invitation letter I received suffice for this?

Eagerly awaiting some help here since I need to travel to Canada in the month of April.

Many thanks in advance!
Vish.

Hi Vish,

You must provide evidence and explanations for:
1. Your employment + a well-defined purpose of visit for a short duration/specific schedule + Canadian host/company's association with your employer, etc

2. Your employer will pay for your visit (airfare + hotel + all other expenses)

3. Your personal ties to India (property/land ownership + your personal bank statements + financial investments + dependent family who live with you, etc).
