Need help with open work permit !!

Hi,
My closed work permit is expiring soon and my PR application is under process right now. I am applying for a bridge open work permit.
I don’t have any new offer right now and I won’t be continuing under the same employer.
In that circumstance I am not sure which option should I select for myself :

1. Apply for a work permit with the same employer
2. Restore my status as a worker
3. Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer
4. Get a new temporary work resident permit

any leads would be highly appreciated.

As I understand it, your options 1 and 2 would bind you to your current employer. Not what it sounds like you want.

Yeah. so option 1 is out for me.
However I dont have a new job offer so can I still go on with the 3rd option ?

What form is this for? You are supposed to choose "open work permit" as the type of permit.
