On immigration form IMM 5669 its says - indicate whether you are 1) principal applicant or 2) the spouse, common law partner or dependent child aged 18 years older of the principal applicant

i am so confused! my boyfriend is sponsoring me. he is born canadian! form IMM 5669 is for me - sponsored common law partner. so its means i have to choose option two!?

You are the principal applicant (assuming you are preparing to go through spousal sponsorship stream).
