Need help with cover letter

Hi guys,

is it a good idea to include in your cover letter why you have never traveled anywhere outside your home country or would it make the VO think that you’re being over-smart by already explaining everything you could potentially be refused for?

Why do you need to travel to Canada? You can explain that.

Thanks for your reply. I’m traveling to Canada for an exam but I think I’m over explaining stuff in my cover letter. Is it a bad thing to do?

What exam requires you in Canada. You need to show strong ties to country, funds, travel etc. If you haven’t travelled to a visa country then that is an issue.
