hello, I'm a bit of a confusing situation and I don't know what to do .
i was lay off work and was told to apply straight away for cerb so I did the next day that was for my birth month and i got it but 1 weeks later and my boss wants me to come back to work little bits here and there which i did and two weeks later I have under a full week wages which not that much but back out of work for the next two weeks because of the covid-19 .
so he is sponsoring me under LMIA and him letting me go for a week or so will it affect my status of trying to get PR and does it affect with cerb ?

Do you qualify for CERB? Did you look? Did you make 5k in the past 12 month? The announcement that you could pick up a little bit of work as long as you made less than 1K/month was only announced April 15th. When did you get laid off? When did you go back to work and how much did you earn? I’m not clear based on your post whether you went back for one week and worked your normal hours? How much did you earn when you went back to work? Was it over $1000?

Yes I make more than 5k in the last 12 months.
I was laid off on the 6-April and apply cerb on the 7th which was a Tuesday . Got pulled back the following Tuesday for 2.5 days and then this week for 2.5 days as well which is definitely under a $1000 . Now out for two weeks more.
I'm just afraid that it will affect me applying for PR . My LMIA does finished until july 2021.

You need to look at your monthly income. It must be under 1K. it must remain u see 1K for future months to qualify as well. CERB doesn’t disqualify you from PR but not working may affect the express entry program you are planning on applying to.

Correct , I definitely want to apply for PR so I did the right thing in going back to work. Yes I'll be lucky if I make $600 or 700 this month barely cover a months rent .

Thank you , for the information definitely took a bit of stress of me .

Just be careful for next month. If you earn over 1K you will be expected to pay back the CERB.

Thank you , yea my boss told me already that he maybe has one day next month and that will be it for me . Really appreciate it .
